ひるた　りょうこ

イラストレーター/絵本作家

福島県生まれ。水彩で、主にどうぶつ・こども・身近な風景を描く。

アカデミー・オブ・アート大学イラストレーション科（サンフランシスコ）卒業。

企業勤務の傍ら制作活動を続け、『とうだいのくま』で第９回タリーズピクチャーブックアワード大賞受賞(2012年)。

2015年からフリーとして活動開始。絵本制作、企業向けイラストレーション制作を手掛ける。

絵本ワークショップあとさき塾22期生。好きなものは、海、お茶、めだか。

Ryoko Hiruta, a Fukushima native, paints animals, kids, and sceneries from everyday life in watercolor.

The Academy of Art University undergrad continued her creative projects alongside her daily office job, and she won the 9th Annual Tully’s Picture Book Award with “The Bear of the Lighthouse” in 2012.

She started her full-time freelance career in 2015 focusing on children’s books and commercial illustrations.

She was accepted into Atosaki-Juku Workshop for the class of 22nd term.

Ryoko loves the ocean, drinking teas, and her Medakas (Japanese Rice Fish).
